Subject: FW: Video Shorts on Coping with Unique Current Stressors
Hi Jason,
Dr. Jenny Prohaska, First Responder specific Psychologist, reached out to me yesterday offering the short videos in the email below. I found them to be of value and thought you might appreciate them for your resources for rural or small
agencies who could use a little help.

Subject: Video Shorts on Coping with Unique Current Stressors
[External email. Be careful with links and attachments.]
Hello Pam-
It goes without saying that things have been a unique kind of stress recently with, oh you know, a pandemic and all. In an attempt to help address the unique recent stressors,
I’ve put together some really short videos on a variety of topics that may be relevant to your employees, colleagues, and even spouses. They were filmed in conjunction with the non-profit, War Horses for Veterans, based out of Stilwell, Kansas, an organization
that also runs first responder-based programs. The video shorts cover a wide range of things from general coping, to talking with your spouse, to the adaptive (and not adaptive) side of anxiety, to making the most of your down time, to talking with your kids.
Feel free to distribute to whomever.
Also, we plan to continue shooting short videos for the next few weeks as we attempt to make the most of the current situation. So, please feel free to have your membership email
with any ideas they may have for future segments and we will do our best to accommodate. They can send any questions or ideas for short segments to:
jennyprohaska@gmail.com
Also, please remind your folks that spouses can also benefit from the content in these videos! As we all know, the stress doesn’t just come from work!
