Greetings,

I would like to once again share a resource with you for your local communities.  As the state association for community behavioral health agencies we have partnered with the MO Department of Mental Health to administer the COVID-19 Emergency Grant funded by the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA). This grant is specifically for healthcare professionals who have been impacted by COVID-19. This grant offers free, confidential behavioral health services to individuals providing direct care in a healthcare setting who have been negatively impacted by COVID-19. I have attached the grant information, which includes the link to finding a provider for behavioral health services. Or you can click here: https://www.missouricit.org/first-responders.  You will see on the webpage a list of providers from the MO First Responder Provider Network who are participating in the grant. You may not find a provider near you, but all of the grant providers can offer telehealth visits to healthcare professionals working and/or living in MO.

Please share this information with your members. We know healthcare professionals are struggling with the overwhelming surge in COVID patients. Please also find attached information on the state’s behavioral health crisis hotlines, which are operated 24/7. Please thank your members for the work they do every day for the citizens of our great state of Missouri.

Thank you!
