Subject: [SERIALST] Bidding- Periodicals Subscription Agent
We
pay a large sum, $550,000 for our subscriptions via our subscription agent. As
a result, we have been asked by our administration whether we can bid out these
subscription services. Has anyone had experience bidding out these
services and having Ebsco, etc. respond ?
If anyone has an information or other documentation or experiences they
can share or can discuss with me, please contact me. We have no interest
in changing our agent but would like documentation as to why we would not bid
out this service.
