Is there an effective way of eliminating duplicate titles in
an aggregator, e.g. Ebsco or Proquest, in Serials Solutions, so that the title
doesn’t appear twice in E-JOURNALS?
Eg. There are many titles that are in 2 Ebsco databases,
like Academic Search Complete and Business Source Premier. I want these titles
listed just once in
E-JOURNALS. What I’ve done so far is run an
overlap analysis to determine which titles are duplicates. Then I select “We
subscribe to “We subscribe to only some of the titles in this database,
and one by one untrack the duplicate titles. The problem with this is
that when new titles are added to Ebsco databases, they will not be
automatically tracked, and I am not aware of their being added, to track them
individually.
