Hi Louise,

We added some old 1920s -1950s vols of the American Journal of Nursing a few years ago and they have been well-used here for a class or two.  We obtained those when a college in Texas was discarding them. You rarely see very old magazine issues on library lists anymore, but maybe your request will flush some out.

Maybe you could check Craigslist or Ebay for some of those oldies, also.

Anyone aware of open source access to old journals: Ladies Home Journal, Harpers, Good Housekeeping, Better Homes and Gardens?? We are routinely hit by students requesting articles from 1900’s for historical research – any hints greatly appreciated.
