Subject: ADMINISTRIVIA: Is this listserve still relevant?

Dear Subscribers,

This list has been going since the creation of electronic journals. In its
time it served an important function in informing subscribers about the
emergence of this new form of journal. It is time to take stock of its
utility in a world of exploding online publicatins, DOAJ, RSS Feeds, and
other forms of electronic announcements.

Subscribership has been declining, and those that allocate resources are
evaluating whether NewJour’s resources could be better deployed to other
scholarly communications projects.

If you feel strongly about continuing this list, feel that it is time to
move on, or just want to add a comment or two, please email me at
keb46@georgetown.edu.

Thank you for any feedback you may have.

Best,

Kurt Beske
