I will help you out.  Don't think I can be talking on the phone during business hours, however.  IW

I am the co-editor of the Balance Point column in the journal Serials Review. My next column will focus on the topic "Paraprofessional managers of serials departments."

If you are a paraprofessional manager of a serials department, would you be willing to participate in a 15-30 minute interview/conversation about this topic?  Alternatively, I can accept written contributions.

The Balance Point column is designed to provide a variety of viewpoints on the topics that are covered. I'm hoping to include contributions from individuals working in all types of libraries: academic, public, special, etc.

My column may touch on the following areas (and others!):
How did you become interested in the field of library serials operations?
What led you to pursue a career in serials management?
How do you stay current with new developments in the field?
Are there any triumphs or challenges that you have experienced as a paraprofessional manager?

Please let me know if you might be interested in sharing your thoughts and experience in my column.

Thank you very much.

Best wishes,
