Temporary Non-Tenure Track Business Librarian

Classification and Salary:
Assistant Librarian (Lecturer)
Salary: $3,957 minimum, depending on qualifications (monthly full-time equivalent)

Position:
Full or part-time temporary position beginning August 2012. Appointment will be in the Information, Research and Instructional Services (IRIS) division. Librarian with business background will provide research assistance and group instruction, collection development for Management, Marketing, and possibly other related subject areas.   May participate in development of information literacy digital learning objects (e.g., LibGuides, screencasts, etc.), web development and other digital initiatives.


Qualifications:
Required:
 MLS from an ALA-accredited institution. 
 Experience working with business subjects and resources.



Preferred: Knowledge of collection development practices. Experience providing research assistance and group instruction in an academic environment.
Experience developing library instruction tools and assignments.
