Apparently it is widespread, because EBSCO sent out a message on Oct. 5 indicating that they were have a problem with the slowness in A-Z and that they were working on the problem.

I know this doesn’t help, but at least you know they are working on it,

Subject: [SERIALST] Slowness with EBSCO service

I’m curious to know if anyone else is experiencing slowness with their EBSCO A-to-Z service?  This is affecting both our reader and admin sites.  Sometimes it is so slow the search times out.  This has been going on for a few weeks now and I have already called customer service about it.  Just wondering how widespread the problem is.

Thanks,

Laura
