TECHNICAL SERVICES LIBRARIAN

Lafayette College seeks an innovative, forward-thinking librarian to lead our technical services department in monographic and serials acquisition, cataloging, and electronic resource management.  Broad knowledge of scholarly publishing, responsiveness to changes in the dissemination and discovery of scholarly information, and the ability to make informed cost-benefit analyses for ongoing technical services workflow redesign will be essential.

This position reports to the Director for Access & Technical Services and works closely with other colleagues on collection development and electronic resources management. The technical services librarian supervises 5 FTE technical services support staff, setting performance goals and managing work standards in accordance with best practices.
