I'm deeply sorry to read this.  I knew her from serving together on various ALA Committees and she was always committed and energetic and just a fabulous person.  I recall one time when we served on the Government Relations Committee, she basically took on, single-handed, a huge task of going after various Congressional members on a committee related to copyright.  She changed them and influenced the outcome of a positive decision.  I will miss her greatly.
