Known for its leadership in distance learning and its mission to serve, J.Y. Joyner Library, East Carolina University (ECU) in Greenville, NC, seeks applicants for two librarian positions, ELECTRONIC RESOURCES ACCESS & DISCOVERY LIBRARIAN
and the HEAD OF ELECTRONIC & CONTINUING RESOURCES ACQUISITIONS, both within the Library’s Electronic & Continuing Resources Department, which is responsible for acquiring and providing access to journals (both electronic and print formats), databases, and
other continuing resources that have been selected for inclusion in the Library’s collection. Among their duties, the positions work collaboratively to manage the acquisition, licensing, invoicing, claiming, renewal, and cancellation of electronic and continuing
resources, ensure access to electronic resources, communicate with vendors and publishers regarding the evaluation, acquisition, management, renewal, and cancellation of Library resources, and use data-informed metrics in the evaluation of Library resources.
