Hi Sara,

I’m definitely no expert, but I’ve used the Connexion web-based service to create and update our local holdings many times over the years.

(I have no experience doing this using Connexion Client, and am not sure if it would work the same way).

Our local holdings are entered using one of the following two formats  – 1) using 853/863 combo; 2) using just the 866.

I’ve heard it’s easier for automated systems (ILL, etc.) to make use of the 853/863 version, but am not sure if that’s still the case…

If screen shots from the web-based service would be helpful, I’m happy to send them on – just let me know J

Hello Everyone,
I am creating local holdings records in OCLC Connexion for all of our serials, and I'm getting some error messages when I try to save my changes. Would anyone have a sample local holdings record I could take a look at, or even any advice? Thanks.
