In Canada CARDonline, in the US Standard Rate and Data Service. Primarily aimed at advertisers, this lets them know the "reach" of the title. If there is one the journal home page often gives this information as well.

Subject: [SERIALST] # of subscribers to a journal

Is there a resource that provides the number of subscribers a journal has?  A colleague is trying to answer some journal questions for a professor, but is getting slightly stuck.  We are aware of Ulrich’s Web and the Gale Directory of Periodicals as resources for journal data, but were wondering if there was any other resource out there that could answer this question.

Thanks!

Katy
