That’s a good start.

If your state has statewide database subscriptions, check on whether they include an option to limit searches to peer reviewed journals.

For example, Kansas provides Business Source Premier and Academic Search Premier, among others. If you use the Advanced Search of those databases, you can check a box to limit to “Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals.” Showing a class how to use advanced search options is much more useful in the long run than handing them a list of peer reviewed journals, since that’s one of the basic skills we teach in college libraries.

Subject: [SERIALST] Question about Peer Reviewed Business/Management Journals

Hi All,
Let me express my ignorance here. I work at a public library, and a local teacher requested lists of peer reviewed business journals to give her class. I explained what peer reviewed meant, and printed some lists I found online, and talked about Ulrich's, but does anyone have any other good lists or thoughts on this? I figure I'd ask the collective brain trust.

Thanks,
