I noticed those ads on top as well. They look like designed for mobile devices, particularly for smart phones. But I was on a 17" screen, which is not a mobile device. I have another screen, which is 23" display diagonal. I dragged the same screen from the 17" screen to the 23" screen, and the ads went back to the side. 

I think TF needs to adjust the response design of their webpage.
