The University of Arkansas at Little Rock seeks applications for the position of Discovery and Metadata Coordinator/Librarian (R99690). The Discovery and Metadata Coordinator/Librarian is a 12-month library faculty position with rank leading to tenure. Reporting to the Director of Technology and Digital Initiatives, the coordinator provides vision, leadership, and innovation for the division's Discovery and Metadata Team (formerly Technical Services), including library and discovery systems, cataloging and metadata processes, and e-resources.

Required Qualifications: Master's degree in Library/Information Science from an ALA-accredited school or approved terminal degree. A minimum of five (5) years’ experience in the provision of technical services in an academic library setting with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a managerial or leadership role

Preferred Qualifications:  Five (5) or more years of experience in management positions in an academic library. Demonstrated experience in developing working partnerships with academic departments and other campus communities. Experience with Innovative Interfaces integrated library system (Sierra), EBSCO discovery system, WorldShare Record Manager, and WorldShare Collection Manager.
