The ALA ALCTS Interest Group Role of the Professional Librarian in Technical Services is looking for two volunteers to serve as Co-Vice Chairs in 2019 and as Co-Chairs in 2020.

 

The 2019 Co-Chairs are Kristin Flachsbart and Suzhen Chen. You will work with us to plan and hold RPLTS-IG sessions at Midwinter and Annual.

 

As Co-Vice Chair, you will be expected to attend both the Midwinter meeting in Seattle and the Annual conference in Washington D.C. during

2019 and to participate in the session planning and delivery. As Co-Chair in 2020, you will plan and deliver the session at the Annual conference in Chicago and the Midwinter meeting in Philadelphia (depending on the decision of the ALA Board about continuing Midwinter

meetings.)

 

No prior experience is needed; the Co-Vice Chairs learn the ropes during the first year working with the Co-Chairs and co-chairs ex-officio.
