University Libraries:  Discovery Services Librarian/Assistant or Associate Librarian


Miami University Libraries seeks an innovative, forward-thinking, tech-savvy, and service-minded colleague for the role of Discovery Librarian in the Access & Borrow Department (A&B). The result of a recent libraries-wide reorganization, A&B provides the materials (physical, virtual, and spatial) which fuel learning. The department combines technical services (acquisitions, cataloging, serials, e-resources, discovery) and access services (circulation, reserves, document delivery). The new hire will foster a seamless experience for staff and users in discovering and accessing library resources. The position reports to the A&B Department Head and serves as liaison to the Libraries’ IT staff.
