Hi Nancy,

I think adding access would be useful, particularly as coverage through the index is spotty. It's not a core title for us, but it is a respectable publication that may be of some use to our theatre program (and particularly to students who may end up teaching in the K-12 environment).

Thanks,

Louis

FW: [SERIALST] RE: Dramatics ISSN 0012-5989

Dramatics ISSN 0012-5989 has gone to Open access https://www.schooltheatre.org/publications/dramatics. It seems to begin with Sept 2010.

We do not have a current subscription but have access thru

Source: Dramatics. [0012-5989] Full text available at: International Index to Performing Arts Full Text

Should we add access?

Barbara,

They have gone to open access per Cammy Bihl at the Association.

I apologize for the delay in getting back to you. The digital issues are open to anyone. We made this decision to increase access in the spring as a result of the pandemic both as a service to the field and to fulfill our promises to advertisers given the loss of the print edition. Please let me know if you have any further questions!

Hello, everyone.

Yesterday, we received a check in the mail from Educational Theatre Association due to the unfulfilled portion of our subscription. This was a title we had renewed for 2021, so I was confused. I checked their website (https://www.schooltheatre.org/publications/dramatics) and it seems that they are going to online only, but it does not indicate if it will be open access or not.  Our vendor did not know anything about it. Does anyone out there know?

Sincerely,
