Rose,

I am dying for such service, but then we are pretty much starting from
scratch. Do you have contact information for UCMP?

Rose,

If your Serhold information is already in fairly good shape, it could well
be more cost-effective - and presumably also more timely - to perform the
ongoing updating yourself.
You may want to obtain an access code -if you don't have one yet- to see
first hand how the online updating is done.
We recently obtained a complete holdings listing for our library from
Serhold, compared the Serhold data with the data in our local system, and
identified titles for which our holdings need to be updated.
Currently, we are in the process of making about 200 updates.
While I'm still disappointed that Serhold does not accept holdings data at
the level which we use in our local system, the new Serhold updating
procedure is a big improvement.
