CV Surgery Online is available solely via the internet. Articles of interest to the cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgeon will appear simultaneously online on the ahajournals.org site and in CV Surgery Online. Approximately 100 articles per month will be posted as a part of CV Surgery Online. As articles of interest to the cardio-thoracic and cardiovascular surgeon are published, they will appear simultaneously online on the ahajournals.org site and in CV Surgery Online. Users can sign up to be alerted to new content available by e-mail. Complete articles * full text, illustrations, and references * related to the following subjects will be included: Chronic ischemic heart disease Cerebrovascular disease/stroke Infectious endocarditis Peripheral, aortic, coronary artery, spinal cord vascular disease Valvular heart disease Ablation/ICD/surgery Pacemaker Behavioral/psychosocial Transplantation Ventricular assistance Cardiomyopathy Pediatric, congenital heart disease Carotid stenosis, endarterectomy Emergency treatment of stroke Angiography, angioplasty, stenting CT and MRI, Doppler Thrombolysis By-pass procedures Aneurysm AVM Hematoma Access to CV Surgery Online will be available by subscription after the trial period ends on December 31, 2000. Once access controls are put in place, non-subscribers will only be able to access the full-text articles via the Pay-Per-View feature.
