Buddy,
Upon looking at our check-in record I noticed that we were missing the
Oct.
2000 issue. I looked at both the Aug. and Dec. issues and still could
not
determine if the "tin cans" issue was Oct. or Dec. though I suspected it
to
be Dec. I went to the web address www.theiia.org and found the current
issue listed is October with contents describing the cover as well as
the
featured articles:

ON THE COVER
THE LOOKING GLASS Through the eyes of nine individuals who
work outside of-but tangentially to-internal auditing, internal
auditors can see their professional image as others do. BY LEAH
MILLER

So, we're also missing the Oct. issue.

Hi all,

We received the latest issue of Internal Auditor and noticed a
discrepancy.
The title has December 2000, and Table of Contents has December 2000
volume
57:6, but the masthead on the following page has October 2000 volume
57:5.
The cover has a pair of tin cans connected by a string with the title
"Communication Sharing Information, Ensuring Understanding." Does
anyone
know what the correct numbering for this is?

Our checkin records indicate that we never received a 57:5 so I do not
know
if this is 57:5 and the cover is wrong or if it really is 57:6 and we
never
received the real 57:5. Can you guys check your shelves and see if you
have
an October 57:5 issue with a different cover than the one described
above.
That would solve the problem.
