The answer to why we renamed the magazine is in the opening essay. As for
the differences between the two versions you have: One (ON Monthly) is a
free supplement to TIME Magazine that goes to a subset of TIME subscribers.
The other (ON Magazine) is the subscription/newstand edition. The content is
roughly 20 percent different. The reason for this is postal regulations that
pertain to magazine supplements.

If you are asking these questions for archival purposes, the issue you
should archive is ON Magazine; the Monthly often contains matierial that
appeared previously in the Magazine.
