I know this has been said before, but Neodata is never going to change and
make anything any easier for libraries. Library subscriptions count for
such a small part of their revenue that it doesn't put anything on their
ledger sheet if they make any "improvements".

I have been working in serials for many years. Over 10 years ago I worked
very hard with Faxon to try to get some sense made out of Neodata and get
them to make a few minor changes - no progress and, now that I am "wiser",
no more sleep lost.

My recommendation would be to get a good vendor (if you don't have one, do
the research and make the change if necessary) and let them do the work.
After all, that is why we pay them the service charge. They get additional
discounts on many journals from the publisher and that is their job: to
order and service the subscription. Timely claiming on our part is
important as well as (as I call it) "email bugging" of your account rep when
no action has taken place on the claim(s) after an appropriate amount of
time.
