Dear Catalogers/Cataloguers,

The CC:DA Task Force on ISO Harmonization would like to ask for your
input.

The task force is working on identifying areas where AACR2 description
conventions differ from conventions prescribed by ISO standards.
Examples of the types of differences that the task force is looking at
include "cm" (a symbol, according to ISO ISO 31/0) versus "cm." (an
abbreviation according to AACR2, hence the full stop following the "m"),
or conventions for recording numbers, units of measurements, etc.,
according to ISO 31 and other ISO-approved parts of the International
System of Units (SI).

The task force would appreciate any suggestions you have on rules in
AACR2 (any chapter) that you think should (or should not) be changed to
make AACR2 description conventions reflect ISO conventions.

might have.
