Interesting that this page didn't show up in the first dozen pages of
hits from Google.  Considering how brief it is, I guess it isn't
surprising.

What I wonder is how important CODENs are any more, now that we have
ISSNs?  How many publishers bother getting them these days?  How many
are issued per year, particularly outside of the chemistry journals?
