The NCSU Libraries is seeking a talented cataloger and forward-thinking
librarian to manage cataloging operations for monographic resources in a

wide variety of formats and languages. The Cataloging Department
(http://www.lib.ncsu.edu/cataloging/cathome.htm), with 6 librarians, 16
staff, a computing consultant, and a Libraries Fellow, plays an
important role in resource discovery and metadata initiatives,
collaborating with staff throughout the Libraries. The NCSU Libraries
catalogs more than 45,000 titles and 100,000 volumes each year, and has
a total collection size of over 3 million volumes. The NCSU Libraries is

an Enhance library within OCLC and has been an active participant in the

CORC/Connexion Project, which is used to guide electronic resources
through the selection process to the catalog. The Libraries will soon
begin a multi-million dollar project that will co-locate Acquisitions,
