Subject: RE: Link resolvers - Knowledge Base -- Steve Oberg From: "Peter McCracken" <peter@serialssolutions.com> Date: Wed, 16 Apr 2003 18:19:49 -0700 I think it's worth noting that Serials Solutions' full featured OpenURL resolver, Article Linker, which was mentioned separately on this list several days ago, is currently in use at a handful of libraries around the country and will be available for widespread implementation in the upcoming months. We've used accurate e-journal holdings data as the cornerstone for Article Linker, and are pleased to see more people talking about this important -- but usually ignored -- aspect of OpenURL link resolvers. With reference to the original posting, an OpenURL resolver is only as good as the data behind it. More information is available at http://www.serialssolutions.com/articlelinker.asp .
