CELEBRATING GL CONFERENCES 1993-2003 In December 1993, the first International Conference on Grey Literature was held in the Amsterdam. A decade later, the fifth International Conference on Grey Literature returns to the Dutch Capital after venues in Luxembourg in 1997 and in Washington D.C., 1995 and 1999. While the exploitation of grey literature is not primarily for economic gain, it does augment the knowledge and information bases in specialized fields, empowers decision making in local and national government, enables forecasts for business and industry, and impacts the public opinion of net-citizens. GL5 seeks to focus on these and other grey matters in the world of networked information. Your contribution to this program by way of the recent Call-for-Papers is welcome. http://www.textrelease.com/pages/3 2. THE CONFERENCE WEBSITE, YOUR ITINERARY TO GL5 TextRelease, the GL5 Conference and Organizing Bureau, maintains current and comprehensive website information in desktop reach of authors, delegates, conference participants, and other information professionals.
