Mary-
We check in all our government docs on the ILS (Innovative). We set up
a short bib record for each SuDoc class with Item and SuDoc number, issuing
agency and generic type (Handbooks, manuals, etc.). We then created a
serial check in record for each SuDoc number and check in everything we
receive on a the check in card attached to that record.
