Subject: newspaper check-in

I am seriously considering the elimination of newspaper check-in, as it is
a fairly time-consuming process here at ECU.  What other libraries have
gone down this road and how was it received by your public services
personnel?  Many of these newspapers are available via one or more of our
databases; the more important ones we receive on microfilm for archival
purposes.
