Re: Electronic Databases Question

Hi Jean,
I was hired as a Reference Librarian in 1987 but over the years I have
also acquired responsibility for serials (which now includes
registration of online access) and maintaining the database collection
seemed a logical extension since they are renewed each year.
Maintaining our database listings on our library page is part of this
job. We are a small college with an FTE of 4,336. I do not have an
office; my desk is in a fishbowl in the Reference area and if there is
a problem with a database, I'm usually the first to hear about it,
which is convenient.
