Question about general interest periodicals for a teen audience: I'm cataloging a flurry of titles for our popular culture section of our Special Collections and think they belong at AP201. However, the Spec. Collections staff would like subject headings assigned to them. I'll be contributing the records to OCLC, but am uncertain if I should give 650's for an AP-classed title. They all are similar to such titles as Teen people and Tiger beat, so I used Popular culture |vPeriodicals for the 1st 650, as well as, Teenage actors |v Periodicals, and Rock musicians |v Periodicals.
Any advice?
