Availability of ALA Program recording Dickerson, Eugene (NIH/NLM) 07 Jul 2004 18:34 UTC

Contrary to what we were told previously, you can purchase a copy of the
audio CD recording of the ALCTS Serials Section Committee to Study Serials
Cataloging program, "Now That We've Revised Chapter 12, Where Do We Go From
Here?" individually, without purchasing all of the programs in the track.

The program featured a look into the future of serials cataloging with
presentations by:

Regina Reynolds: "Good Enough Cataloging: Not Bad, Not Ugly"
Ed Jones: "The FRBR Model as Applied to Serials"
Dr. Barbara Tillett: "Plans for AACR3 and the Impact on Serials Cataloging"

If you would like to purchase the recording of this program, please go to
the following Web site:

"Now That We've Revised Chapter 12 ..." is program number 290A/290B and
sells for $28.00 for 2 audio CDs. The running time for the complete program
is just under 3 hours.

The Power Point presentations which accompanied this program will be posted
on the ALCTS Web site at a future date. We hope to have a written summary
to post to listservs within the next two weeks.
