Apologies for cross posting...

Against the Grain is now inviting submissions of articles for the February
issue.  The issue will be devoted to e-books.

Possible article topics include:
- What types of e-books are most used by patrons?  Reference books vs.
general collection?  How are they used?
- How are e-books processed and made available to the public?  What is the
technical services workflow?
- What are the subscription / pricing models for e-books?
- What are the access models for e-books?
- What are the current trends in e-book publishing?  Where is the industry
going?
- What are the current trends in e-book use?  Are users satisfied with
e-books?  How can user satisfaction with e-books be measured?
- Case studies of libraries that are currently using e-books?

Articles on other aspects of e-book use and management are also welcome.

Against the Grain is a partially refereed publication, and articles are
usually 2000 -- 2500 words in length.  Articles proposals and / or
abstracts of articles should be submitted by November 8, 2004. The final
deadline for submission of the articles themselves is December 15, 2004.
