Hello,

The MINITEX Library Information Network operates a small, back issue
service called Serials Exchange at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities
campus. Serials Exchange does not maintain an inventory of back issues due
to space limitations. Our staff instead checks incoming donations of
withdrawn periodicals against requests that we have received from libraries.

Serials Exchange has a wide variety of donors, including public libraries,
academic libraries, private donors and private companies. For academic
libraries, we receive donations from state universities, technical,
community and private colleges throughout Minnesota, North Dakota and South
Dakota as well as the University of Minnesota.

Due to the large amount of donations we receive each year that are not
utilized, we would like to expand our periodical service to libraries
outside of the MINITEX region of Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota.
We offer issues to participants outside of our region for a flat fee of $5
that does not include shipping.
