Re: JSTOR Print Titles: To Be, or Not To Be...? Tanis L. Kreiger 19 Apr 2005 13:05 UTC

Hi Tony,

Yes, we do currently subscribe to both print and electronic for some JSTOR
titles. Space is a concern for us as well, and we have also made a
commitment to providing electronic instead of print whenever feasible. We
currently withdraw all volumes available electronically from JSTOR. For
those titles that we also purchase in print, we maintain print for whatever
falls beyond the moving wall (ie. current 5 years, current 3 years,
etc.). We review the JSTOR holdings twice a year and pull accordingly. We
provide ILL services to the entire campus and Document Delivery for faculty
and graduate students. In the event that the electronic version was
unavailable, we would use these services to provide the article in question.
