Endeavor wrote a program for NLM that allows us to toggle off the Display in
OPAC for Recent Issues in a batch. A similar function, along with the
ability to control what displays from the holdings record (MFHD in Voyager
speak) will be available in the Voyager 5 release later this year.

Hi,

Here at our library, we had the same problem, the lists of recent issues in
OPAC were too long. So one day I experimented:
I "collapse" any issues I don't want displayed et voila when you check
OPAC they are gone.
One thing, collapsing automatically creates new fields in the holdings
record, I usually delete them because we don't use them.
It sounds a bit confusing, but once it's done, the records are displayed
just as you like them and CLEAN.
I hope this was useful.
