We are called Collection Services Team - one of three teams in the
library; the other two being Borrower Sevices Team and Information and
Learning Commons Team (formerly known as Reference Services). Like
others, I still call it plain old Tech Serivces! Old habits die hard.

We use "Technical Services" but I am thinking of changing it to
"Acquisitions & Cataloging" because, on this campus, everyone thinks
that my department handles technical issues dealing with students'
leased tablet PCs (which we do not).
The problem is fitting "Cataloging & Acquisitions" on the standards
signs that we order.
My job title will not change. That would take an administrative
procedure above the library's control, and I don't feel like dealing
with it that much.
