We did a trial and comparison with Web of Science over a period of several
months. It was a tough decision, but we chose Scopus. We also negotiated a
price we could live with.
Web of Science is the name brand faculty know and are comfortable with.
Scopus is very nice, however, and has things to offer that Web of Science
does not, based on the underlying database structure. Scopus has a much
more user friendly interface, as well.

We'd love to have it. But we'd have to cancel ISI's Web of Science (I
always feel silly typing that) to be able to afford it. I can't imagine us
doing that any time soon.

But I think it's a very nice product,
