Mary Ballard at Southern Living answered my query about their
publication pattern.  For v.40 (2005) only: there is a special issue
(mid-April) which is numbered (no.5), making 13 numbered issues.
Beginning next volume/year, the pattern will return to 12 numbered
issues.  They do not plan any special issues for next year.  (2004 had a
special issue, but it was unnumbered; we can live with that!)
