Thank you for reporting this Jeannette. I still have never received a
response to my inquiries nor have I ever received any email notices from
WEF. We will put the URL for the online version of WEF Highlights into
our bib record and also include it in our Periodicals A-Z list.

I'm curious why it is labeled as a "membership" newsletter yet available
free to the public. When our renewal comes around again, we will
question whether it is necessary to pay for this free publication.

I have a feeling that they will eventually require a login if their
membership dues start dropping.

Subject: WEF Highlights revisited

A couple of weeks ago, someone said here:
WEF highlights (1087-3384) ? a link to electronic newsletter
will be=
emailed out for each issue. We don't have details yet, but it
appears=
you have to have to log in on the website. Unkown whether the
newslett=
er can be easily printed. We have been unsucessful in contacting
the=
publisher to provide them an email address as instructed.

I was unaware of this development, and had not recieved any info, or
lin=
ks, from the pub. Until now, if I didn't receive a print issue, I'd=
go to the website & print it off; it was there in a pdf. file. I
revis=
ited the website after the Serialst posting, and though I could access=
the issue from the site map, I did not come to a print copy. I came=
 to a page
(http://www.wef.org/ScienceTechnologyResources/Publications/W=
EFHighlights/) featuring the first couple of paragraphs of several of=
the articles, and a place to click again to be linked to the rest of=
 the article.

I emailed our vendor to ask about a login, the response, from the pub,=
was there is none, and I was given the above link to access the issue.

So. What now, oh wise ones?
