LAC seeks an experienced Library Technician - Serials Mail (F/T) for a
major government library in Bethesda, MD.

Qualifications:

*	Knowledge and use of the Voyager ILS system, PC, and Microsoft
Office suite
*	Previous experience working in a library
*	High School Diploma or equivalent, college degree or some
coursework
*	Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail
*	Excellent written and oral communication skills
*	Ability to move 35-50 lb boxes

Responsibilities:

*	Receive and process approximately 10,000 journals a month
*	Sort incoming mail (individual journal issues, vendor shipments,
1st class mail)
*	Distribute processed materials, out-going mail, and discarded
items
*	Utilize Voyager integrated library system to search and receive
duplicate journal issues, and print spine labels for designated items
*	Receive deliveries and fill out receipt logs
*	Update Bibliographic records
*	Record statistical data
*	Perform quality assurance
*	Data entry and other special assignments
