Cotton tying tape Jean Lenville 23 Jun 2008 18:15 UTC

Greetings. We purchase unbleached cotton tape for tying binding bundles
and other preservation tasks. We have been able to purchase this either
from Gaylord or University Products, but recently the supplier to those
companies has changed the product. We used to buy rolls of 5/8 inch wide
tape which came in lengths of 500 yards, but those became unavailable
several years ago, so we switched to 1000 yard rolls, which were much
thicker, but still only 7 inches high. Our latest order yielded 1000
yard rolls which are now 1 foot high, and mighty unwieldy to use! Does
anyone purchase smaller rolls, and if so from whom?
