Connie,
Our development office is arranging access to selected (business?) databases for members of the Friends of the Library who donate above a certain level. Many of those people will be alumni, but not all. I've no idea what kind of negotiation this took to accomplish, as I had no part in it. I suspect it wasn't easy.
