Exactly. We've had to do the same for titles which are no IP supported, especially where the publisher doesn't allow us to publish the login information on our link resolver or in the bib record. This is not only limited to popular magazines. There have been a few 'scholarly' titles which have done the same over the past year.

Hello,

I don't think publishers of popular magazines like PC Magazine and US News &
World Report have given any thought to the fact that their online model does
not work for libraries. As an academic library, our only option was to
cancel both subscriptions. If publishers do not support IP authentication,
we cannot make their journal/mazagine available to our university community.
