Re: Check in/maintain/catalog serials Wilma Dague 28 Apr 2011 21:07 UTC
Lisa, I can't imagine a collection or fte smaller than we had when I first got here. Others in our consortium are smaller and still have a serials module in SIRSI DYNIX. We can't afford a federated search or an ILL management system, so I can't imagine that it's not already included in your OPAC package. But then, I don't have an MLS either ;-) Best regards, Wilma Weant Dague Serials Coordinator Benedictine College Library St. Benedict's Abbey Library Atchison, KS 66002 wdague@benedictine.edu -----Original Message----- From: SERIALST: Serials in Libraries Discussion Forum [mailto:SERIALST@list.uvm.edu] On Behalf Of Lisa Pate Sent: Wednesday, April 27, 2011 12:42 PM To: SERIALST@LIST.UVM.EDU Subject: Re: [SERIALST] Check in/maintain/catalog serials I have no resistance in using the ILS. We do not have the serials feature enabled, however. From what I understand, it would cost too much to pay for that portion for our small collection. Thanks for your input, though!
