Maybe most of you already know this, but in case not, ...

Most of us in my dept. assumed microfilm for Newsweek would cease along with the print. But since we were continuing to predict microfilm even after closing the print prediction, I asked and our orders staff contacted NAPC/Proquest for clarification. While they were doing that, I saw that NAPC listed prices for 2013 & 2014 for the microfilm. It turns out that even though the print has ceased, microfilm will be produced from PDF files.

I continue to find technological surprises as I enter the twilight of my career (ca. 30 years now working with serials).
