Like others who have chimed in, I want to thank you for your
communication to the serials community and for resolving the problem
with access to statistics last week. For a panic stricken moment, I was
thinking, will I have to reattach all my resources to my account? I'm
too old for that. Thanks for listening.

Our technical staff pinpointed the issue and resolved it on Thursday, June 17. The usage reporting function is now back to normal. We apologize for this interruption, and our thanks to those who reported it (and for alerting us to the concerns raised on this list).

When generating that request, you actually are querying a series of separate subscription databases (at least one per publisher). Therefore, it takes time to queue up and run each report. If you have a lot of subscriptions, it takes more time. Some have reported that their browser “times out” while waiting.
